How can one diagnosis change your whole life!

 Try to picture this if you can, Saturday morning my husband and i came home from lunch and some shopping to find in the mail a letter from the neurologist and it says in not so many words that "my second EEG showed some changes supporting the diagnosis of seizures." This totally floored both of us, but we went on to do some more errands, trying to keep our spirits up. In the mean time while sitting in the truck while Ben is in the hardware store i called my big sister who also has Epilepsy, and she tells me it is gonna be taking pills everyday and it will be okay and it is in our family as both she and my brother have it. Then there is my best friend, Karen telling me to make sure before they take my license that i get a second opinion. So all i can say is Saturday was a life changing day. And all my husband could say is that he doesnt want me to sit in this house and grow bigger and bigger and become depressed and miserable. Really?? what are my other choices?? walking in two feet of snow, freezing my ass off? or working out, cause im just not one to be self motivated. And this is my life!!!
